This unique Chanukia (Hanukkah lamp) beautifully combines the old traditions of the oil lamps and the Dutch chanukiot, with modern design.

The Chanukia has a rectangular, flat base with a recessed area in which the eight oil lamps are lined up. Behind each of the lamps is an oval reflector.

The reflectors can be turned to three positions in order to expose the light of the Chanukia to different angles. The possibility to make the light visible to many directions, underlines the central idea of Chanuka: the proclamation of the miracle which allowed a limited amount of oil to burn for eight days.

The use of reflectors is a typical feature of Dutch Chanukiot of the 17th century.

The Chanukia is signed and numbered as part of a 50 piece production only.
